In March this year, two fine young men whom I’ve had the pleasure of treating for the last few years, will embark on a life changing experience. Except it’s not just their own lives that they will be changing but also the many lives of others who suffer from depression.
In 2011, Dylan and Lawson lost their sister Heidi to Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). Ever since then, Dylan and Lawson have been thinking of ways to honour their sister’s memory as well as help others who also suffer from this plight.
Therefore they have teamed up with QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute to raise funds for research into finding the cause of this terrible condition and hopefully from that finding a cure one day.
